Delegates are the governing body of the Buffalo Teachers Federation. Each building elects delegates and alternates from among its members to represent them for a one-year term. One of the most important responsibilities of a delegate is maintaining strong communication with members in their building and bringing forward their questions, concerns, and ideas to both building leadership and the union’s central leadership.
