BTF Resolution - November 17, 2005

Whereas: Acts of violence and disruption in Buffalo Public Schools continue to spread and become more serious, threatening and interfering with the education of 95% of our students who want to learn in a safe environment and;

Whereas: The violent and disruptive students should be moved so that they can receive the assistance they require to succeed and not interfere with the learning and safety of others.

Therefore Be It Resolved: That the BTF Council of Delegates rejects the suggestion by the Superintendent that an Alternative school be instituted in September of 2006 and calls for the Superintendent and Board to institute an Alternative School no later than second semester of this school year.
